Client Project:
Tuna Haikus
The client, Joe Salembier, came to our class with a set of haikus about tunas. My designs were an exploration of how a dressed up appearance cannot disguise the powerful impact of these slurs.
Each of the plates are hand-lettered and baked into the plate. The box was designed as packaging to hold the plates as a set. The poem series title, author name, and designer name are laser etched into the front of the box.
